Daily care

• Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Microfiber works best.
• For smudges, dampen the cloth with water and a drop of mild dish soap. Wipe and dry immediately.
• Avoid solvents, acetone, alcohol, and abrasive cleaners — they dull the finish.

What to avoid

• Heat above 60°C — PLA softens. Don't leave pieces in a parked car in summer, on a windowsill in direct sun, or near a stove/oven.
• Prolonged direct sunlight — UV bleaches colour over months. Rotate display pieces occasionally.
• Dishwashers and soaking — water can creep into layer lines. Hand-wash only.
• Load-bearing use — printed pieces are decorative/functional, not structural. Don't use a printed vase as a load-bearing shelf bracket.

Lifetime Care promise

Every FORMA object is covered by Lifetime Care. If the piece develops a manufacturing defect (warping, delamination, layer separation under normal use) within the lifetime of the object, we will:

• Reprint it at print-cost (we charge materials + machine time only), or
• Repair it free of charge for issues within 1 year of delivery, or
• Refund you in full if a reprint or repair isn't possible.

Storage

If you need to store a piece long-term, wrap it in acid-free tissue and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid sealed plastic bags (they can trap moisture).
