Are your products really made in India?+
Yes. Designed, printed, finished, and shipped from our Bengaluru studio. Every piece has the studio signature on the inside or underside.
What materials do you use?+
Primarily plant-based PLA (a bioplastic made from corn-starch). It's recyclable, low-odor, and produces far fewer microplastics than conventional plastic. For some pieces we use wood-fill or stone-fill blends.
Are the products food-safe?+
Our PLA is food-contact-safe per EU regulations, but printed pieces have microscopic layer lines that can harbor bacteria. We recommend not using them for direct food contact — use them as fruit bowls with a liner, or as decorative vessels.
Can I customize a piece?+
Yes — see our Bespoke page. We do one-of-one editions and small-batch custom work. Lead time is usually 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity.
Do you ship internationally?+
Not yet. We're working on it. Join the newsletter to be notified when international shipping launches.
How long do orders take?+
Ready-to-ship pieces: 2 to 6 business days depending on your pincode. Made-to-order: 7 to 14 business days. The exact estimate shows at checkout.
What's your return policy?+
15 days for ready-to-ship pieces (unused, original packaging). Made-to-order pieces are covered by Lifetime Care instead. Full details in the Refund Policy.
Do you offer COD?+
Cash on Delivery is available for most pincodes, with a ₹50 COD handling fee. Some remote pincodes don't support COD — the checkout will tell you.
Can I cancel an order?+
Yes, before it ships. Email orders@forma.studio. After it ships, the Refund Policy applies.
Do you have a physical store?+
Our only retail presence is the studio in Bengaluru. We host occasional pop-ups and studio visits — sign up to the newsletter to hear about them.
